Why donate?

My goal is to demonstrate that there is interest in this type of product. I'm not looking to fund development through donations. A donation as small as $5.00 allows me to make the case, in a concrete fashion, that there is interest in this product. It is easy to tell potential investors that people are interested, but it is far more effective to show them that people are "putting their money where their mouth is".
